Vintage Suitcases

Hello my dear friends,
due to a bursitis in my left elbow I had to take an unexpected break from posting and commenting.
The draining tube came out a few days ago and my elbow is almost like new.

For today's simply neutrals party @ Apple&Apricot I choose vintage suitcases as my theme.

Well, the brown one finally turned into white:)

I really like the way it came out.

I might embellish it further at a later point and I can assure you it will pop up again at a later time in the future.

Thank you, dear Wendy for hosting this wonderful event.
I'm so far behind it will take me a while to catch up with you.
Wishing you a wonderful week and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for all your lovely comments.

Hugs and love,

Oh Marie, I'm soo glad that is over for you! It sounds very painful~
Happy you are on the mend.
I love your suitcase! And you are brave. I've seen this before and really like the look but can't seem to try painting one : ) You have encouraged me! It's a beautiful display piece; and useful too~

Dear Marie
I am sorry to read that you have been struggling with health issues.
Beautiful display. I am drawn to vintage suitcases, the first ones belonged to a Great Aunt, I was about 19 years old at the time. Sadly they deteriorated with age.
I like the serene quality of the case painted white.
Please take good care.
Wishes
Lynne

I'm glad that you could get rid of the draining tube and that your elbow feels so much better now, dear Marie.
You've been brave to paint your suitcase. It turned out lovely and fits great with your shabby chic interior.
Have a wonderful day, my friend! :)
Hugs,

I hope this finds you feeling much better! I understand oh so well this pain (the stroke causes this to act up with me as well) and resting it will help, ice, and exercises. I love your suitcase collection, so beautiful!
